Attorney Terry Bertram will provide an orientation to The University of Michigan Retirees Association (UMRA) on wills, trusts, and share tips on how to avoid probate and other problems. This program is designed primarily for individuals who are just starting the estate planning process. The University of Michigan Retirees Association (UMRA) helps members keep in touch with the university and remain active in retirement.

The great value of estate planning lies in the freedom and security that if affords you and your loved ones during times of duress. A variety of legal strategies, including wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, and health care documents, are involved in estate planning. When used properly and strategically, a comprehensive estate plan will actually save you money and time. Taking the time to plan also opens up options for long term care.
All programs will precede a regular monthly UMRA meeting so join us for a lecture and stay for the general meeting if you can.

At Legacy Law Center, we help families plan for the future, realize their goals and protect themselves and their loved ones. Our office brings the latest techniques and advanced planning available to give you answers to difficult questions as well as peace of mind.
