I grew up spending much of my free time "at work with Dad" and, like my father, I share a passion for working with families and assisting those who are vulnerable. My experience, combined with a desire to help others, is what led me to join Legacy Law Center in 2013.
Advocating for others is something that has always been ingrained in me, and I take pride in being able to advocate for our clients and their families while building relationships with them.
I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University and have previously worked in a variety of positions in the social work field, including in direct care with children and adults with developmental disabilities, as a Paraeducator for the Saline Area School District, and as a Foster Care Worker. Additionally, I job shadowed with the Honorable Judge Darlene A. O’Brien at the Washtenaw County Probate Court, where I was able to observe the legal proceedings for matters in both probate and family court.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at home with my cats Maizy and Brady. I also love being on the lake, U of M Football, and my newest hobby—skydiving!
